Amazon tests delivery to trunks of Audi cars.

Volvo have been trialing this last year with an independent delivery company, and it seems that others now have their shoulders to the wheel. When ‘others’ includes Amazon, it can only be a matter of time before many more auto brands are involved. So, who ‘owns’ the convenient of this experience – Prime or Audi? Interesting question for marketeers in future.

“There’s no word on when a wider rollout will take place but Amazon says it eventually plans to offer the service to Prime members “everywhere.” it’s an innovative idea that uses your own car a bit like a personal alternative to the Amazon lockers that are popular in convenience stores.” (http://thenextweb.com/insider/2015/04/22/amazon-tests-delivery-to-trunks-of-audi-cars-in-munich-germany/)
