As screens become an increasingly important component of a car’s product-design and experience, here’s an excellent overview of the current state of play, where the interfaces and ux design are concerned.

The news isn’t good, but as Teehan (Co-founder Teehan+Lax, latterly of Facebook) points out a. things have to improve because all the other ‘screens’ in our lives have raised the bar and b. digital controls and the need for integration will only increase the pressure on manufacturers.
