What appears to be a site-specific execution by Japanese design office Suppose, while relating well to its physical situation does something more interesting – staging a presentation of the brand that feels distinctly more ‘show home’ than ‘showroom’.

There appears to be many interesting things going on here, materially, in space planning and interior design and the overall result is really very pleasing.

Whether any of the design ‘pattern’ demonstrated can be exported in part or whole, it makes for a refreshing change, exploring some tried-and-tested methods and adjacencies but with a vigor and determination that strike a chord (with this Mazda owner-driver, at least). And, critically, well done to the client for seeing it through.
